FAQs

Is this mask suitable for sensitive skin?
+

The pink clay and cactus extract make this one of the gentler peel-off masks in the 7th Heaven range, and it is more suitable for mildly sensitive skin than the charcoal alternatives. However, peel-off masks as a format involve mechanical removal that is not suitable for all sensitive skin types. If your skin is highly reactive, prone to redness, or has a diagnosed condition such as rosacea, we would recommend a rinse-off mask or consulting our pharmacy team for more appropriate alternatives. A patch test before full-face use is always advisable.

Why does this mask leave skin looking brighter?
+

The brightening effect comes from two directions. The gentle purifying action of the pink clay removes the dull surface layer of impurities and congestion that contributes to a flat, uneven complexion. The mechanical peel-off removal also provides a degree of gentle exfoliation, revealing the fresher skin beneath. Rose extract further supports a more luminous, even appearance. The result is skin that looks more awake and radiant after each use — most noticeable when you compare skin before and immediately after the mask is removed.

Can I use this mask alongside other 7th Heaven masks?
+

Yes. Many people build a weekly mask rotation using different 7th Heaven products to address different skin needs. This Pink Cactus and Clay Peel-Off might be used once weekly for brightening and gentle purification, whilst a clay mask — such as the Blemish Clay Mask — is used mid-week for deeper cleansing of oilier areas. Do not use more than one mask on the same day or apply this mask on the same day as another exfoliating treatment.

What makes cactus extract useful in a face mask?
+

Cactus extract — typically derived from the prickly pear — is rich in water-binding compounds and antioxidants, which makes it an unusual but well-considered inclusion in a peel-off mask. Most peel-off mask formulas lean heavily on drying agents, which is part of why they work but also why they can leave skin feeling tight. The cactus extract counteracts this tendency, maintaining skin comfort during the drying process and leaving skin hydrated and soft rather than taut after the mask is removed.

How often should I use this mask for best results?
+

Once or twice per week is the recommended frequency. Used consistently at this frequency over four to six weeks, you should notice a progressive improvement in skin clarity, radiance, and the appearance of pore size. Beyond twice weekly, the benefits do not increase proportionally and the mechanical action of repeated peeling can begin to sensitise the skin surface. Think of it as a weekly skin reset rather than a daily treatment.
