Adcal-D3 Caplets 750mg/200IU – 112 Caplets

Adcal-D3 Caplets provide calcium and vitamin D3. Calcium contributes to the maintenance of normal bones and teeth, while vitamin D contributes to normal calcium absorption and utilisation and the maintenance of normal bones.

The usual recommended dose for adults, elderly people and children over 12 years is 2 caplets twice daily, ideally 2 in the morning and 2 in the evening, unless otherwise directed by a healthcare professional.

Swallow the caplets with water. They are film-coated caplets and should be taken as directed on the patient leaflet or by your doctor or pharmacist.

Vitamin D contributes to normal calcium absorption and utilisation, normal blood calcium levels, and the maintenance of normal bones, teeth and muscle function.

Calcium is needed for the maintenance of normal bones and teeth. It also contributes to normal muscle function, normal neurotransmission and the normal function of digestive enzymes.

Adcal-D3 Caplets are suitable for children aged 12 years and over when used according to the product directions or healthcare professional advice. Do not give this product to children under 12 years.

When taken at the usual recommended dose of 4 caplets daily, a pack of 112 caplets provides approximately 28 days' supply.

Adcal-D3 Caplets contain sucrose. Speak to your doctor before use if you have been told that you have an intolerance to some sugars.

Some medicines should be separated from Adcal-D3 Caplets by around 4 hours, including thyroxine, bisphosphonates, zinc, strontium ranelate, iron or fluoride medicines, tetracycline antibiotics and quinolone antibiotics. Ask a pharmacist for advice.
