- Wash your hands. Wash thoroughly with soap and water and dry with a clean towel before handling the vial or touching the eye area.
- Remove contact lenses if worn. Remove lenses before instilling the drops. Reinsert after a minimum of 15 minutes.
- Open a single unit dose vial. Separate one vial from the strip. Twist off the top of the vial firmly. The vial is now open and ready for use. Do not touch the open tip with your fingers.
- Tilt your head back. Tilt your head gently backwards and look upwards. With one finger, carefully pull your lower eyelid downwards to create a small pocket between the eyelid and the eye.
