MANDATORY VACCINATION REQUIREMENTS TO ATTEND HAJJ

In accordance with Saudia Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj, pilgrims are required to get their mandatory vaccinations at least 10 days prior to attending Hajj to be eligible to perform the Hajj rituals. All required vaccinations must be completed (with proof provided) before a Hajj permit can be issued.

Recommended Vaccinations

The Saudi Ministry of Health recommends that international pilgrims have up-to-date routine vaccinations such as hepatitis, MMR, influenza, yellow fever, etc. If they are not current, you can easily get a booster.

Mandatory Vaccination

Meningococcal Meningitis (ACWY) Vaccine

Additionally, if you live in the UK, you will be required to produce a Certificate of Vaccination for Meningococcal Meningitis (ACWY). If you don’t have it, you will not be able to get a travel visa to attend Hajj.
